My Trip has already reached its Highpoint
Tonight i went to see the Giants play the cardinals. It was a great matchup (Jason Schmidt vs Mark Mulder) and i had great seats (if you drew a line between 2nd base and me it went right through the batters box). It was a great game with the cardinals prevailing 3-1. I saw Larry Walker hit a splash ball (A dead set no doubter - had to be 430ft +) and Reggie Sanders and Pedro Feliz hit home runs.
Then thanks to the kindness of one of the giants employees (Who shall remain nameless for the moment - only because i don't want to get her into any trouble) - i was able to go into the press box and meet the voice of both the Giants radio and ESPN Sunday night Baseball - Mr Jon Miller - and this guy is an absolute class act - he spent the better part of 15 minutes with me discussing baseball and asking about my trip and baseball in Australia - even told me some good stories. And to top it off I had my photo taken and he signed my Giants Program.
So thinking this night could not get any better i was preparing to go back to my seats for the start of the game when the same wonderful giants employee asked me to wait and see if she could organise one more thing - that thing turned out to be meeting to Hall of Fame baseball player WILLIE McCOVEY - as in McCOVEY COVE - where Larry walker hit that splash ball. I can say it was honestly the most thrilling moment of my life - and i am not sure how i am going to top it - but i am sure going to give it one almighty crack. If you want to see how good McCovey was - check out his Hall of Fame profile at this URL:

I have photos and will try and post them up in a few days - unfortunately the computers don't have USB cpnnections - so i have to get them burnt onto CD first.
More from San Francisco soon.
To the giants employee who made this whole thing possible - thank you for giving me memories that i will hold for a lifetime. Thanks to Jon Miller and Willie McCovey who were so generous with their time.

Glad to hear you're having fun! Sounds like an amazing start to your trip.
I spent the weekend in Townsville, and I can confidently say I would prefer to have spent it in San Francisco.
Keep the updates coming!
PS - no idea about the Stealers score because of the aforementioned trip to Townsville.
